New U10 format in Norfolk Christian league
A new format football competition for Under 10s teams in the Norfolk Christian Football league has been hailed a big success.
For the last six weeks, the U10 teams in the league have been playing various forms of futsal and 5-a-side games, culminating in a final compeition on Saturday February 6 involving eight teams in two groups, with medals awarded to the winning teams
Thorpe and
Stoke.
League secretary
Alan Barnes has organised the different format of games, which have been held at UEA Sportspark and Ormiston Academy.
League Chairman
Mike Culwick said, "This has been a great success as we continue to experiment with different competitions for the u10 league as suggested by the Norfolk FA. We would like to say a big thank you for all the teams taking part, the managers and the parents for all their encouragement and support."
Congratulations to all teams who took part on Saturday.
