Vaccine750PEXChurches Together tackle vaccination concerns  

Churches Together in England are running webinars to address resistance to vaccination among Christian communities.

Churches Together in England (CTE) are working in partnership with Multi-cultural Marketing Consultancy, as a client of the Government. The webinars will run on February 18 and 25.
 
Medical professionals and church leaders will address the webinar’s audience, and answer questions.
 
The first, held on February 18 from 7.00 – 9.00 pm, will address the concerns of Black Christian communities especially, with church leaders Rt Rev’d Karowei Dorgu, Anglican Bishop of Woolwich, and Dr Joe Aldred, Bishop in the Church of God of Prophecy and former CTE staff member on the panel, with medical expertise from Dr Bola Owolabi, Director of Health Inequalities, NHS England.
 
The second, February 25 from 7.00 – 9.00 pm, will address the same concerns for the widest of Christian audiences, with church leaders Bishops Michael Beasley (Hertford), Rose Hudson-Wilkins (Dover), and Archbishop Angaelos, Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London and CTE President, on the panel. They will be accompanied as before by medical professionals.

Pastors, clergy and other influencers especially welcome to attend, free of charge. The webinars aim to increase the uptake of the vaccine amongst all groups in society.
