Rhyming Bible production comes to Aylsham

The Saltmine Theatre Company will bring Bob Hartman’s Rhyming Bible show to Aylsham next month, and tickets are now available.

Hosted by Churches Together in Aylsham, the show is a fast-paced and fun adaptation of legendary storyteller Bob Hartman’s highly acclaimed Rhyming Bible. Saltmine Theatre Company uses movement, music, and lots of comedy to imaginatively bring biblical stories and characters to life and explore ideas of forgiveness and redemption.

“Let me tell you the story of everything! Yes! Roll up! Roll up! Come to the most heavenly show of the year!” is the claim of Saltmine’s publicity. “In the company of two friendly Angels, you (the audience) will be enrolled as first year students at: Angelus High - ‘Kind wings, humble halos’.  As first year Angels you will, of course, learn to sing (angelically), fly (magnificently) and most of all you will learn THE STORY! How did it all begin? What does it all mean? And just what is the mysterious Professor Mortarian up to?

“These questions (and more) will be answered in the toe-tapping, side-splitting, roof-raising extravaganza that is the Rhyming Bible! This magnificent all-age musical will take you from the creation of the earth to its glorious redemption.”

The family-friendly production will last one hour, and take place at 2pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 18 May at Jubilee Family Centre in Aylsham. Tickets are £10 for a family or £3 for individuals.

The show has already been watched by over 13,600 people. Feedback includes:

“Saltmine’s Rhyming Bible show brings God’s story to life in a bright, bouncy, family friendly way. It is all that I hoped for and more.”   Bob Hartman, Author
